This week’s post is about museums as we are aware that although many of you love relaxing under the sun when you are on holiday in Costa del Sol some of you also enjoys making the most of the cultural resources our region offers.
One of the best and most interesting museums in Malaga city is the Patrimony Museum, a great history and art museum which opened its doors in 2007 and which will definitely help you to know the beautiful capital of Costa del Sol much better.
This museum is located by the city centre, in the well known Paseo de Reding, and apart from displaying pieces of art, pictures and objects it also organises some wonderful sightseeing routes.
As yesterday was the International Women’s Day today we would like to recommend you one of its most popular routes as it is linked to women. In it its participants will visit streets, spots, and squares dedicated and related to some important local female figures.
This route is organised all year round from Tuesday to Friday prior reservation. Both taking part in it and accessing the museum is free of charge.
The opening hours of the Patrimony Museum are from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 A.M to 2:00 P.M and from 5:00 P.M to 10:00 P.M.
If right now you are enjoying a lovely holiday with us at Hotel Angela, your hotel in Fuengirola, and you fancy having a great day in Malaga exploring it and getting to know some more about its history, the Malaga Patrimony Museum is the perfect starting point to do so!
