Are you currently having a fantastic holiday at Hotel Angela, your hotel in Fuengirola and you don’t have plans for this Sunday?
Sundays in general are quiet days; therefore they are perfect for a bit of sightseeing and for visiting monuments and museums.
Taking into consideration we are close to Malaga and there is an excellent train service between Fuengirola and the capital of Costa del Sol… Why not spending our Sunday in Malaga making the most of this beautiful city?
Malaga is the second most important city in Andalusia, and although it is mostly famous due to its amazing weather it also has an excellent cultural offer.
Right now in fact both the Picasso and the Carmen Thyssen Museums offer free visits on Sunday evenings (from 6:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M and from 5:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M respectively).
Besides its permanent collection the Picasso Museum currently homes a great exhibition called “Picasso TV”. It will be there till the 16th of November and shows the influence TV had on the late work of the artist.
The Thyssen museum at the moment offers a new interesting temporary collection called “El Greco-Rusiñol” that can be seen until the 22nd of November. Even if it is quite small and it is just composed of 4 pieces, these are very valuable works of art so it is well worth seeing it.
Both museums are in the core of Malaga, so they are easily accesible walking from “Malaga centro” train station.
Make the most of your holiday at Hotel Angela and get to know a little bit more about the capital of Costa del Sol!
