This week the blog of Hotel Angela, your hotel in Fuengirola, comes with excellent news as after a 2 year break due to the pandemic the International Fair of Fuengirola is back. 
The International Fair will start this week, on Wednesday the 27th of April, will end on Monday the 2nd of May and this will be its 26th edition.
Fuengirola is a cosmopolitan town and one of the most important destinations in Costa del Sol. Its great tourist offer of sun and sea attracts many holidaymakers as well as foreign residents. As Fuengirola is a big melting pot it is the perfect place to celebrate this amazing fair which started back in 1994.
The International Fair is held in the Fuengirola fairground and this year there are 33 participant countries: Germany, Great Britain, Argentina, Greece, Australia, Hawaii, Belgium, India, Bolivia, Ireland, Brazil, Jamaica, Bulgaria, Japan, Chile, Mexico, Colombia, Paraguay, Cuba, Peru, Ecuador, Puerto Rico, Spain, Dominican Republic, U.S.A, Romania, Estonia, South Africa, Finland, Turkey, Ukraine, Venezuela and Uruguay.
This, no doubt, is the perfect opportunity to get to experience the cuisine, music, dances, and folklore of different countries without having to go far.
As it is now tradition the International Fair will start with a wonderful opening parade where people from the participant countries will wear their beautiful typical costumes. This year this popular parade will be on Saturday the 30th of April at 11:30 A.M. and will go past the main streets in the town centre (starting in Plaza de España and finishing at the fairground).
While this festival is on, the 33 fair stands will be open to the public from 1:00 P.M to 4:00 A.M.
