One of your new year’s resolutions for 2015 is doing more cultural things and visiting places you do not know? If that is the case, Hotel Angela, your hotel in Fuengirola, recommends you to visit the beautiful town of Estepona.
Many of you might possibly have heard of it, but maybe you have never visited it as it is about 37 miles away from our hotel.
Same as Fuengirola, Estepona is also a multicultural resort and a very popular holiday destination, especially in summer, due to its beautiful beaches and its fantastic weather.
Tourism is its main industry, so in order to attract more visitors the Estepona City Council has planned an interesting route of Urban Art.
In this route there are 24 beautiful mural paintings to see in and all of them are located in some of the most humble neighbourhoods in town.
With this creative idea, buildings that were not very beautiful have become a tourist and cultural attraction, same as happened not long ago in Soho Malaga.
Out of the 24 mural paintings, the highlight is the one called “Fishing day” as for now it is the biggest vertical mural in Spain.
