Romeria of Fuengirola 2015

Last week here on the blog of Hotel Angela we commented that the fair of Fuengirola was coming soon, so today we have the pleasure to recommend you not to miss the first of the many fair related events that will take place in town: The romería of Virgen del Rosario.Romeria of Fuengirola 2015 - Hotel Angela Fuengirola

The romería of Fuengirola is always celebrated the last Sunday of September, so if you have the fortune of being on holiday with us right now try not to miss it as we are sure you will love it.

This great event will be on Sunday the 27th of September and will start at around 9:30 A.M when a beautiful mass will be held in the Virgen del Rosario Church, located on Plaza de la Constitución, right in the city centre.

At around 10:45 A.M, once the mass is over, beautiful horses and carriages will join the Virgin in a procession that will take her from Plaza de la Constitución in Fuengirola to parque de El Esparragal in Mijas Costa.

There is no better way to get ready for the fair than attending this very special mass, so if you have no plans for Sunday do not forget to note this down on your diary.

Another thing you shouldn’t forget is to take your camera with you… We are certain your family and friends will appreciate and feel that unique Andalusian charm in your pictures!

Have fun!
