Malaga’s Holy Week is one of the most important in Spain, so it is not surprising that every year more people, not only locals but also visitors, do not want to miss it.
Due to this fact this year for the first time some guided tours are available in order to guarantee that those who visit Malaga get to experience its Holy Week in a very unique way.
These guided tours started last Saturday the 12th of March and will be on till Sunday the 27th of March as that is Resurrection Sunday and therefore the last day of Holy Week.
During these days a team of more than 60 multilingual guides will be in charge of 3 walking urban tours in which beautiful churches, brotherhood temples and other interesting religious spots will be shown and explained.
The starting point of all these tours is the “Agrupación de Cofradías” building located in Calle Muro de San Julian and each of these tours will be managed by 2 guides.
All tours will last around 2 or 2 and a half hours. The first tour will start at 10:00 A.M and the last one at 12:00 P.M, though on Sunday the 13th, Friday the 18th and Saturday the 19th there will also be tours in the evening at 6:00 and 7:00 P.M.
As this is something that has never been done before no price has been fixed for this service, so organisers kindly request a donation of 7€ per person that will be used for social purposes of the organisation.
If you had planned to spend Holy Week with us at Hotel Angela, your hotel in Fuengirola, you found interesting what we just shared with you and you would like some more information or book a place for these tours please email malagapasiona@agrupaciondecofradias.es or call 952210400.
Do not miss this great opportunity! You will surely love it!
