3 weeks ago here on the blog of Hotel Angela, your hotel in Fuengirola, we told you about La Cala de Mijas and its fair. Today our blog entry is about this beautiful and small coastal area again as this week, from Thursday the 14th to Sunday the 17th, there will be a great medieval market there.
If you frequently visit the blog of Hotel Angela you might have read before about medieval markets as last summer we wrote about the one Fuengirola hosts every August.
Medieval markets are very popular on Costa del Sol during the summer as this time of year is when we receive most visitors, so it is always nice to offer them some good entertainment.
This will be the third year this medieval market will be on and as in previous occasions it will be located in La Cala Boulevard.
There, from Thursday the 14th to Sunday the 17th from 7:30 P.M to 01:30 A.M, there will be around 50 stalls where you can find beautiful crafts, ecologic products and even some really tasty food… Though the best hing about this market is that as it is set in medieval times you will have the feeling you have travelled in a time machine.
Apart from the great stalls one very important part of this event is the entertainment, for this reason while it is on there will be many things going on like live music, belly dancing shows or falconry exhibitions.
La Cala de Mijas is just a few miles away from our hotel and it is easily accessible by bus from Fuengirola bus station, so if this holiday you fancy doing something fun and different we highly recommend you to visit it… Have a great time at this great and original market!
