Winter is about to end so as the weather here is absolutely fantastic, we all start fancying spending time eating out in good company.
This is one of the reasons why the Fuengirola Council organizes the popular food route called “La Cazuela de la Abuela” around this time of year.
As it has happened with almost everything, this gastro route also got adapted to pandemic times. The traditional passport of the event is not on paper anymore but in digital format. This way minimum contact is guaranteed and covid protocols are followed.
The main aim of this route is to support local businesses offering good Spanish and international cuisine and this will be the 11th edition of the event.
Many local bars and restaurants will participate in it and from Friday the 18th of March till Sunday the 3rd of April they all will offer a delicious casserole and a drink (glass of wine, beer, soft drink or water) for only 3€.
As in past editions, the Rivera Beach Club, which belongs to our sister hotel, Hotel Yaramar, will also participate this time with a delicious potato, noodle and seafood casserole which has tomato, peppers, potato, noodles, mussels, clams, fish and prawns as main ingredients… It sounds fantastic, right?
If you are currently on holiday at Hotel Angela, your hotel in Fuengirola, and love traditional Spanish and warm comfort food we certainly recommend you visit the beach club of Hotel Yaramar, try their lovely casserole and vote for it!
Bon appétit!
