Why? Because the 22nd edition of the Fuengirola’s International Festival starts on Thursday, the 28th of April.
Since its first edition, in 1995, the International Festival has been hosted at the fairground, a perfect location for our guests as Hotel Angela is just a few metres away from it.
From the very beginning it has been a real success, to the point that it has become one of the most important yearly events in Costa del Sol and this year it is expected to surpass the number of visitors of previous years which were over a million.
The International Festival 2016 will be on till Monday the 2nd of May and in the 5 days it will last those who visit it will be able to enjoy the traditional food and culture of the 28 countries and the 5 Spanish regions that will be represented in it.
These countries are spread across the 5 continents, being Greece, Germany, Finland, Bulgary, United Kingdom, Norway, France and Italy the European representitatives, together with Spain which will be represented by 5 of its regions: Asturias, Navarra, Castilla León, The Canary Islands and of course, our beautiful Andalusia.
From the American continent Bolivia, The Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Cuba, Colombia, Mexico, Chile, The United States, Jamaica and Hawaii will be the ones participating on it so there will be food and live shows from these countries in their correspondent “caseta”too.
The reprentatives of Africa are Senegal, Egypt and Morocco, while the only ones of Asia and Oceania are India and Australia.
The International Festival is such a great event that everybody should attend it at least once in a lifetime, so if you have the fortune of currently being on holiday at Hotel Angela, your hotel in Fuengirola, we recommend you not to miss it and not to miss the beautiful parade that on Saturday morning will pass through the main streets of Fuengirola city centre and which will reach the fairground at around 1:00 P.M.
Get ready to travel around the world in only 5 days without having to leave Fuengirola!
