Today we would like to suggest another great plan there as the capital of Costa del Sol is currently housing one of greatest exhibitions ever: a sculpture collection by famous and controversial Chinese artist Ai Wei Wei.
This exhibition is on display in CAC, one of the most popular and visited museums in town.
The Contemporary Art Centre is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 A.M to 8:00 P.M, its entry is free and it is located right by Malaga Centro train station in the area now known as Soho Malaga, so getting there will be pretty simple thanks to the great train service that runs along Costa del Sol.
Ai Wei Wei’s exhibition is called “Circle of Animals-Zodiac Heads”, it will be on display there until Sunday the 6th of December and Malaga is in fact the first and only place in Spain where it can be seen.
“Circle of Animals – Zodiac Heads” is a collection of 12 over 3 metre tall bronze sculptures, each of which represents the head of an animal from Chinese Zodiac.
If you love modern art and are currently on holiday with us at Hotel Angela, why don’t you make the most of your time in here and go and see this unique exhibition?
There is no better place to enjoy art than the hometown of the great Pablo Picasso!
