Picasso is considered the most famous Spanish artist of all times. He was born in Malaga almost 133 years ago, so for this reason the city does its best to try to immerse its visitors in the wonderful world of Picasso.

Picasso not only was born in Malaga but he also spent his childhood here. His birth house still remains, which is great as it is a very special place worth the visit if you are willing to know a little bit more about the first years of the artist.

Its entry price is only 3 euros and by paying them you can not only visit the house but also a nearby exhibition centre.

Both of them are located right in the city centre, on the popular Plaza de la Merced. There paintings, pottery, personal objects of the artist and his family and temporary exhibitions are on display.

Right now the exhibition centre is hosting a fabulous exhibition called “Decisive moments of Picasso” which is composed of 18 pieces of Picasso showing the 3 stages of his great evolution.

This centre is open daily from 9:30 A.M to 8:00 P.M and these great “Decisive moments” will be on till Sunday, the 14th of September.

If you have the fortune of being on holiday at Hotel Angela, your hotel in Fuengirola, and you had planned a visit to Malaga for this week, why don’t you go and take a look at this fantastic exhibition?…There is always time to enjoy some good art while on holiday!
