Week after week here on the blog of Hotel Angela we recommend you things to do during your holidays and we inform you about what is going on here on Costa del Sol.
Last March we told you about a local museum called Museo Ciudad de Fuengirola when we suggested you to see the exhibition “Japan: Honour and Tradition”. This week we recommend you to visit this popular museum again as from the 19th of June till the 30th of August you can find a unique exhibition called “Irons? Yes, irons”
More than 500 irons from different periods are on display there. They all belong to Pierre Lachnowicz, a French collector who settled on Costa del Sol many years ago. His collection has more than 2000 units from many parts of the world, so what is exhibited in this local museum is just a selection of his best pieces.
“Irons? Yes, irons” is a free of charge exhibition which can be visited from 7:00 P.M to 11:00 P.M. Same as it happened during “Japan: Honour and Tradition” there will be some activities related to the topic, in this case household tasks. The activity scheduled for this week is a soap creative session that will take place at the museum this Friday, the 11th of July, from 9:00 P.M…It sounds good fun, right?
Hotel Angela, your hotel in Fuengirola, recommends you not to miss this lovely exhibition and reminds you that Museo Ciudad de Fuengirola is at walkable distance from our hotel as it is located in the city centre, very close to Bioparc.
As you can see there is always something fun to do in Fuengirola!
