Last week here on the blog of Hotel Angela, your hotel in Fuengirola, we recommended you to visit Malaga and enjoy its popular film festival.
This week we would like to suggest you another interesting plan, this time in Fuengirola: visiting the new stunning photography exhibition housed in Museo Ciudad de Fuengirola.
In the past, we have recommended you many times to visit our local museum, located by the new town hall and very close to Bioparc Fuengirola, as its entry is free and its exhibitions well worth it.
The new exhibition there is called “Portraits: From East to West” and it contains 45 impressive black and white photographies of a big size taken by well known photographer, Jerónimo Alba, settled in Fuengirola since 1967.
For years, Jerónimo has been taken pictures of important local characters for him, like sportspeople, artists, polititians, health professionals, priests and nuns or shopkeepers.
The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday from 7:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M. and from 10:00 A.M till 2:00 P.M and 5:00 P.M till 9:00 P.M. on Saturday and Sunday.
If at the moment you are on holiday at Hotel Angela and fancy seeing Fuengirola and its locals from another perspective, we recommend you not to miss it.
It is a real gem!
