The Fair of Malaga started last Saturday the 15th and will be on till Saturday the 22nd of August, so you have plenty of time to make the most of it.
Although the dates can vary this festival is always celebrated in mid August as it commemorates the reconquest of Malaga by the Catholic Monarchs on the 19th of August 1487.
This fair is the most important celebration of the year in Malaga and it is very traditional although at the same time it is quite cosmopolitan and international due to the big amount of visitors from all over the globe who come to Malaga just to experience it.
During the day this beautiful event takes place in the city centre of Malaga, so it won’t be too difficult for you to get there thanks to great train line that connects our town with the capital of Costa del Sol.
Once there relax and enjoy the beautiful flamenco dresses, the traditional dancing and some delicious tapas and wines in a very special atmosphere.
