If this is the case the Benalmadena cable cars, one of the most popular attractions on Costa del Sol, might be perfect for you.
The cable car route links Benalmadena Costa with the peak of Monte Calamorro, at approximately 800 metres above sea level, being this one of the highest points on Costa del Sol.
From the peak of the Calamorro you will enjoy breathtaking views of the coast and, if the weather allows it and it is a clear day, you might even manage to see Sierra Nevada, Gibraltar or the North of Africa. While you are up there you will also have the chance to see some falconry exhibitions or do some hiking.
This is a well worth it trip as not many places offer such great views. In September the service is available daily from 11:00 A.M to 7:00 P.M, the journey lasts about 15 minutes and each cable car takes up to 4 people.
The access to this service is very easy as the cable cars are taken just beside the Benalmadena – Arroyo de la Miel train station, which means that you can get there easily thanks to the train line that connects Fuengirola with other important towns on Costa del Sol.
