This September Hotel Ángela has the pleasure to introduce you Francisco Vega, one of our receptionists.

Francisco started working with us 18 years ago. He currently works as a receptionist, but he has previously worked as a bellboy, watchman and assistant receptionist.

He is a very friendly person, he loves meeting people and sharing stories and anecdotes. He says he is friends with lots of guests and that when they come to the hotel they can spend hours talking about football. He also says it moves him when they ask him about his son or when they bring him something.

It seems he never goes to bed early; he confesses he is passionate about football and he loves meeting his friends and have a nice BBQ. He also says that if he could he would go on holiday to Thailand again . He likes flamenco and rock music.

When in Fuengirola he recommends you to go to the beach that is by the castle, “Playa del Castillo”, to eat lovely fried fish in “El Choco” (Calle Francisco Cano, very close to Hotel Ángela), to visit the “Trotamundos” restaurant (Camino Condesa, near the bullring) and also to go to “Taberna del Pintxo” for some tapas (Calle Hermanos Pinzón, in the city centre).

To finish off Francisco wanted to share a message with you:  “Do not leave Fuengirola without having eaten tapas or “espetos” (sardines on the spit). Not doing it should be considered a crime!!”

Thanks a lot, Francisco! We will take your advice!
