Did you know that something great is about to start this week in Fuengirola? The International Festival of Fuengirola will take place from Thursday the 27th of April till Monday the 1st of May. This is one of the most expected events in Costa del Sol and this year it will be its 23rd edition.
For 23 years locals and visitors have enjoyed this colourful and fun event and it has become so popular that each year more people come to Fuengirola to enjoy it and more countries and regions of Spain decide to participate.
This year its slogan is “Fuengirola joins us together”, and during the 5 days it is on, from 1:00 P.M to 4:00 A.M, you will be able to get to know and enjoy the customs, the cuisine and the folklore of more than 30 countries and regions spread across the 5 continents.
The International Fair always takes place at the Fairground, so walking there from Hotel Angela won’t take you too long and it is quite easy.
As it is now tradition there will be a fantastic parade in which the participant countries and regions will offer a wonderful show while wearing their typical costumes. This fascinating parade will start in Plaza de España ( city centre) on Saturday the 29th of April at 11:30 A.M, and will reach the Fairground at about 1:00 P.M.
