Malaga is known for being one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the world, especially during the summer months. It is also known for its great weather, its amazing food and the friendly and fun spirit of its people.
People from Malaga no doubt know how to have fun and this week more than ever they will prove it as from the 17th to the 24th of August the city celebrates its Fair.
The Fair of Malaga is one of the most popular and beautiful of Andalusia, so not many people want to miss it.
During this week, either during the morning or evening, many activities are organised by the council. During the morning and first hours of the evening the Fair of Malaga takes place in the city centre and during the rest of the evening till very late at night it takes place at the fairground.
Among the activities there will be special exhibitions at the musems, verdiales performances in Calle Larios, bullfights or concerts of well known Spanish artists, though being in Andalusia flamenco is a must. There will be daily flamenco shows at the fairground and also in Plaza de la Merced (city centre) where a big tent will be placed for this purpose and shows will take place from 1.30 P.M.
