Did you know that Malaga, like many other tourist destinations, has a pass available that allows visitors to enjoy what the city has to offer in the most economical way?

The pass has been created by the Malaga Council, it is called “Malaga Pass” and it can be purchased online on its official website www.malagapass.com

“Malaga Pass” allows those who get it to experience Malaga in the best and cheapest way possible.

Among its many advantages are that it not only allows to save money, but also time as by using it you will have access to all museums and monuments without waits or queues. It also guarantees a total experience by offering a 33% discount in tourist attractions and a 15% discount in some shops, restaurants and leisure activities.

Although all of them offer the same advantages there are 4 varieties available, depending on the needs of the visitor:

  • Malaga Pass 24 hours:
  • Malaga Pass 48 hours
  • Malaga Pass 72 hours
  • Malaga Pass 1 week

If you love visiting the city of Malaga whenever you are staying with us at Hotel Angela this pass might be perfect for you!

9th Edition of La Cazuela de la Abuela

02maalis

The weather here might be absolutely brilliant, but it is winter after all, so there is nothing better than having some lovely comfort food, and this is why Fuengirola organizes the popular food route called “La Cazuela de la Abuela” around this time of year.

This year in fact will be its 9th edition and many local bars and restaurants will participate in it. From Friday the 6th till Sunday the 22nd of March they all will offer a delicious casserole and a drink (glass of wine, beer, soft drink or water) for only 2,50€.

As in the past 8 years, the Rivera Beach Club, which belongs to our sister hotel Hotel Yaramar, will also participate this year with a tasty bean and seafood casserole that has tomato, peppers, garlic, beans, squid, mussels and langoustines as main ingredients… It sounds lovely, right?

If you are currently on holiday in Hotel Angela, your hotel in Fuengirola, and love Spanish food we certainly recommend you to try the new amazing casserole chef Salvador from the Rivera Beach Club has prepared for you all this year and to vote for it!

We also would like to wish Salvador best of luck and hope becomes a finalist as in some of the past editions!

This week here on the blog of Hotel Angela, your hotel in Fuengirola, we recommend you another great plan in the beautiful town of Mijas.

The plan we are talking about is the Carnival of Mijas 2020, one of the most awaited events of the year, not only by children but also by adults who really love this kind of celebration.

The Carnival events started last Saturday, the 15th of February  at 4:00 P.M. when there was a costume competition for children in Parque de Andalucía in Las Lagunas.

On Sunday the 16th in La Cala de Mijas at 11:30 A.M. there was a parade, as well as a costume competition.

This Saturday, the 22nd, the parade and competition will be in Las Lagunas at 4:00 P.M y on Sunday the 23rd they will be in Mijas Pueblo from 11:30 A.M.

If you are currently staying with us and you either love carnival, or you have never had the chance to experience it, we certainly recommend you not to miss the great activities that our neighbouring town has organised for both locals and visitors.

Have fun in Mijas!
