Fuengirola on the Monopoly board

29tammi

Do you love board games and enjoy having hours of fun playing Monopoly with friends and family?

If your answer was yes you will love to know that right now Monopoly is looking for 20 Spanish cities with over 50,000 inhabitants and 2 towns with less than 50,000 inhabitants to feature in the next edition of the game, and Fuengirola is one of the candidates.

The vote is open now and Fuengirola is currently 24th, so it needs as many votes as possible to be in among the most popular.

To vote all you have to do is click here and then click on “VOTAR”

We certainly would love to see Fuengirola featured in one of the most popular and best selling games in the world as it would be amazing to build a mini Hotel Angela in the space of FuengirolaDon’t you agree?

Best of luck, Fuengirola!

Weekend plans: Concerts at the MIMMA

22tammi

Last week here on the blog of Hotel Angela we recommended you visit, as a weekend plan, to visit the MIMMA (Malaga’s Interactive Music Museum) on Saturday to attend their fantastic flamenco show “Aleo”.

This week the Music Museum continues offering great weekend plans as this Friday, the 26th of January at 5:00 P.M there is a guitar concert there and on Sunday, the 28th of January, also at 5:00 P.M they have a singing concert scheduled.

The guitar concert has a very varied repertoire as different music styles will be played: classic, bossa-nova, rock, etc.

On Friday the performers will be the talented students and former students from the “Carlos Alvarez” Music School of Cartama.

The students of all levels in charge of performing on Sunday are the ones from the “Lina Navas Music and Singing school in Malaga.

If you love music, we certainly recommend you visit this fantastic museum in Malaga as it makes our weekends much more fun!

Weekend plans: Flamenco show

15tammi

Last week here on the blog of Hotel Angela we recommended you visit, as a weekend plan, some of the craft markets we then had in Costa del Sol.

Today we would like to suggest another great plan for this Saturday. This time it is a flamenco show called “Aleo” which will take place at 2:00 P.M. in the MIMMA (Malaga’s Interactive Music Museum).

The Music Museum is in Malaga city centre, in calle Beatas, in the old mansion that belonged to the Count of Las Navas. This construction was built around 1770 and restored in 2010.

“Aleo” is an outstanding 45-minute-long dancing and singing flamenco show.

Tickets can be bought online by clicking here and the price is 15€ or 25€ depending on if you would also like to have lunch at restaurante “Clandestino”.

We hope you enjoy this great show if you decide to follow this week’s recommendation!
