Photography exhibition in Los Boliches

For the last few weeks here on the blog of Hotel Angela we have recommended quite a few exhibitions in Fuengirola or Mijas.

This week we would like to talk about another free exhibition. This time it is in Los Boliches, in Tenencia de Alcaldia, right by the Los Boliches Market.

The exhibition is a photography one, it will get opened on Friday the 28th of September at 8:30 P.M. and it is called “Capitulos Vividos” (“Lived Chapters”)

“Capítulos Vividos” can get visited until Friday the 26th of October and it contains 30 photographs taken by Mariano Pozo. These photos clearly show his adventurer spirit as they are a collection of photos taken during his travels to India, Mozambique, Turkey, Cuba, United States, China, Vietnam, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Russia, Norway, Lithuania, Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Greece and Italy.

If you love taking pictures in your spare time and you are currently on holiday with us at Hotel Angela, your hotel in Fuengirola, we recommend you make the most of your time here by visiting this very interesting exhibit.

Mariano Pozo’s beautiful photos will surely inspire you!

“Japanese Calmness & Andalusian Passion”

Last week, here on the blog of Hotel Angela we recommended you not to miss the Medieval Market of Fuengirola.

Today, we would like to tell you about another great plan you can do this week in Fuengirola.

The plan we are talking about is a new free exhibition called “Japanese Calmness and Andalusian Passion”.

This beautiful exhibit includes works by Japanese artist Michiko Bokka, and it has been on display since Friday the 14th of September and until Friday the 5th of October in Casa de la Cultura, located right in the city centre of Fuengirola.

Michiko Bokka moved to Andalusia in 2004, her works are made using India ink and in them she tries to find calmness and dynamism.

Bokka has exhibited her works in countries like Italy, United States and Japan, so it is a real privilege to have one of her exhibitions in Fuengirola.

If you love art and the Japanese culture and you are on holiday with us at Hotel Angela, your hotel in Fuengirola, we recommend you not to miss the opportunity to visit this beautiful exhibition.

We are sure you will really enjoy it!

Medieval Market of Fuengirola 2018

The Medieval Market has been held every summer in Fuengirola for the last 15 years.

This interesting Medieval Market is one of the most important in Spain as it not only takes you back in time, but it also takes place in the most perfect spot possible: The Sohail Castle, a beautiful Moorish fortress from the 11th century.

While the market is on, the public will enjoy some great medieval music, parades, magic shows and many other activities based on medieval Spain. Besides this there will be fantastic food, as well as many stalls with lovely handmade items.

This year the Medieval Market will start this Wednesday, the 12th of September, and will end on Sunday the 16th, so if right now you are on holiday with us at Hotel Angela, your hotel in Fuengirola, we recommend you visit it.

Its opening times are from 7:00 P.M to 02:00 A.M and the entry to the castle is free.

Try not to miss one of the best events of the end of summer in Costa del Sol!
